Komfort Krates was born from a place I never expected to be — and a silence I never expected to hear.

After losing my son, I experienced something that many grieving people know but few talk about: the world shows up in the first week. The flowers arrive. The casseroles come. People say, "Let me know if you need anything."

And then, slowly, the world moves on. But grief doesn't.

It's the quiet Tuesday three months later. The birthday that comes and goes. The holiday seat that's empty. Those are the moments when you most need to know someone is still thinking of you — and those are the moments when support has usually faded.

That's why I created Komfort Krates. Not as a one-time sympathy gesture, but as ongoing presence. A series of care packages that arrive throughout the year — each one a gentle reminder that someone sees you, remembers you, and hasn't forgotten.
